Bucknotes is snappin' fingers, tappin' toes
Idaho State's WR Coach Likes The Hustle - Brian Cook - The Sporting Blog - Sporting News
This weekend, I want our very own Caucasian Sensation Dane Sanzenbacher to bust out the patented white-dude-attempting-to-dance finger snaps and toe taps in an attempt to confuse and entertain the Illinois secondary. It might not be necessary to burn the toasty Illini defense, but it'd be the single greatest play Jim Tressel has ever called, and the forces of justice would make it illegal to criticize his playcalling for like a week.
Jim Tressel on flu protections, elbow bumps, Chris Fields and Jordan Hall and saying S'happening, with video
Chris Fields reminds Jim Tressel of Santonio Holmes? Woo! And did the reporters really think he'd cop to giving Hall more playing time if Herron and Saine continue to struggle? Boo!
Unpredictable Illinois brings a talented roster (as always) to Columbus to face Buckeyes
Thankfully, the team is well aware that the Illini always bring their A-game to Columbus.
Do not be alarmed, but ... who's going to beat Cincinnati? - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports
Yes.... let them make the title game... yes.... let them play Florida, Bama or Texas.... yes.... everything is going according to plan.

It all makes perfect sense now.
BuckeyeXtra - The Columbus Dispatch : Illini try to plug leaky defense to face Buckeyes
And it's only going to get worse with Martez Wilson going down.
Tressel says he learned lesson (Blogging the Buckeyes)
Confirms what I had suspected; the "miserable people" remarks was directed at the "more venomous, raunchy" e-mails Tressel received. I don't think Tressel has as much trouble taking criticism as most; one need only look at the numerous QB sneaks from this past weekend.
Tale of the tape: Toledo (Blogging the Buckeyes)
Gordon submits that the pass blocking from the OL is better than the run-blocking, and I'm inclined to agree, especially after watching the interior struggle so mightily against Toledo. But I'm wondering, where do the countless broken plays fit into all of this? Pass protection breakdowns contributed to some huge runs for Pryor, as he outmaneuvered a few blitzes to turn busted plays into first downs. What do those plays count toward? Heck take away the Pryor scrambles that didn't directly result from called runs, and the blocking looks even more pedestrian. And that's against one of the worst defensive fronts we'll see all year.
