Bucknotes doesn't have time for a candlelight vigil

The Buckeye Battle Cry | What Do You Want To See On Saturday? – Toledo edition
The boys at the BBC are setting their sights even higher than I have. A 30-point win? 75 percent completion percentage from Teeps? No missed tackles? If all that actually happens, I'll... I'll do something ridiculous.

The Buckeye Battle Cry | Best case scenario: 2009=2005
More quality stuff from the BBC in the run-up to Toledo. The comparisons they draw between the two seasons are very interesting.

Portrait of the Buffaloes at rock bottom: Geology professor piles on - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF - Yahoo! Sports
Colorado, Toledo's big win, is bad, and even their professors are responding. Utterly classless move.

Illinois' Wilson (neck) sidelined for the season - Big Ten - ESPN
What little defense Ohio State's first Big Ten opponent had just went kaput.

Brian Rolle a hard-hitting legacy left behind by Toledo's Beckman: Ohio State Insider - cleveland.com
Beckman's last bit of service for OSU was securing the commitment our own little ball of mean intentions, Brian Rolle. Rolle says he would have ended up at Okie State if he knew that was where Beckman would end up, but says he is, of course, happy at Ohio State and wouldn't change a thing.

Terrelle Pryor's QB coach on his growth, his footwork, bouncing back from the USC loss and more - cleveland.com
Doug Lesmerises interviews Coach Siciliano, who's getting a bad rap for Pryor's inefficiency. The guy is.... uh, optimistic about Pryor's development? I mean, he has to be, but he either doesn't see the problems with TP's game or just won't let on that he does.

Tressel and the offense ... (Flying high with the Buckeyes)
Heath Schnieder drops some cold hard truth all over your face.

Cordle’s Injury Among Shakeups For Toledo Game | Our Honor Defend
Our Honor Defend goes over the depth chart moves this week, and big news: Duron Carter is the No. 3 receiver. Poor Taurian Washington can't catch a break: he's slid all the way to 6th since the heady days of three weeks ago, when he was where Carter is now.

Coaches like how players handle loss
It's not like they'd admit to locker room chaos and despair, but I'm encouraged to hear this. The only way I could see Toledo pulling off the upset was if the team was emo after last week, but fortunately, it's not looking like that will be the case.
