What We Learned: Tressel has choice words for Buckeyes critics - Matt Hayes - College Football - Sporting News
My thoughts: 1) E-mailing your concerns to the coach is incredibly naive. 2) I don't fault Tressel at all for pitying those who e-mail him panicked all-caps e-mails demanding the hiring of a new offensive coordinator. 90 percent of the people who bother to do this haven't played a down of football in their lives. 3) I'm glad to see just a bit of 'tude from the Senator. Nine years dealing with one of the most fickle, demanding fanbases in the country, and he hasn't had one outburst. That is commendable.

Finally, a Buckeye Offer for Latwan Anderson | Gridironstuds.com Blog
Clearly, the staff still sees a need at safety after Chad Hagan's commitment. With the graduation of Anderson Russell, Aaron Gant and Kurt Coleman this year, Jermale Hines, Orhian Johnson, Jamie Wood, Zach Domicone and Rocco Pentello will be the only non-freshmen scholarship safeties on the roster.
The Houndie: Week 1 | Eleven Warriors
11W hands out the first edition of its weekly award for NFL Buckeyes, and it goes to... *drumroll please* Santonio Holmes! James Laurinaitis was also excellent (14 tackles, 10 solo) in a losing effort to the Seattle Seahawks.
