Thaddy Don't Go-links

  •     Eleven Warriors provides an excellent breakdown of the Matta saga of Kentucky's coaching search. Is he gon' leave us out to dry? I don't think so, but I know I can't blame him if he does. Would you rather coach in Rupp Arena or the Schott? Be honest. Plus, you get Ashley Judd as a personal concubine.
  •   Yet another article on the possible changes to the offense that is apparently stuck in a time warp, as if the Pistol formation wasn't already implemented last fall on a consistent basis.
  • The DDN chimes in with Mattafluff. Yes, his recruiting strategy is as solid as it gets; the criticism - well, the informed criticism, anyway - is of his actual gameday coaching ability, which leaves a bit to be desired. Nothing is grounds for a change yet; no matter how frustrating the play of his teams are, they are consistent 20+ win teams who make tourney appearances. At a football school, this is not a basketball program one can really bitch about and win any arguments doing so.
  • The Chicago Tribune paid this guy to ask questions most people know the answer to after about five seconds of conscious thought. Among his observations: Penn State plays tin cans out-of-conference, Wisconsin looked like a pile of yak shit last year and Bielema is on the hot seat, Javon Ringer no longer has legs thanks to Mark Dantonio's "offense", and Indiana has signed their own death warrant in making Kellen Lewis a wide recevier. He also highlights the replacements Ohio State must find on offense, but really, isn't there nowhere to go but up? No? Alright, that's a little worrisome.
